Natural freshwater pearls thread on 100% pure silk.

Recycled Silver and 2,5 micron thick 9k gold Vermeil coating.

Strung by hand in Cape Town, South Africa.

Plastic-free jewels & packaging.

Chains and small findings used in our jewellery are purchased from local suppliers who import them from Italy. No machine-made findings are currently manufactured in South Africa.

These pearls are all limited in quantity and once they have sold out, we may never be able to find them again. Our beautiful rice pearls are generally uniform in shape and colour but slight variation from online images may still occur.

1 – Last on, first off. Harsh chemicals in perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, and cosmetics can damage the natural lustre of your pearls. Put your Valley necklace on after these have been applied to your skin.

2 – Wear your pearls often. Contact with the natural oils in your skin keeps them moist and polishes the metal fittings and keeps them from becoming dry and dusty. Be careful! Hard knocks and impact can break or crack your pearls.

3 - Store your pearls in the 100% cotton bag provided, away from other pieces and sharp/rough surfaces.

4 – Our necklaces are strung with utmost care and a knot between each pearl ensuring that you'd only ever lose one pearl if it had to snap. Sleeping, swimming, showering, and rough activity with your necklace will wear natural silk out with time. We recommend having your pearls restrung every 3 years if you wear them often. We offer restringing at R150. We cannot be held responsible for the loss of any pearls due to neglect or rough wear.

5 – Vermeil is a thicker gold coating than standard flash plating and can last up to 1 year depending on how each unique customer wears and cares for their pieces. Keep metal components away from harsh chemicals, constant rubbing/scratching and wet conditions to ensure longevity.
